The Fox Den: No Waste Cafe & Roastery
1680 Laporte Ave, Windsor, CO
Crema's Take
“This Windsor roastery turns the coffee experience into an act of environmental care, serving their expertly roasted beans in mason jars and your choice of thrifted mugs that you get to keep—making every visit feel like discovering treasure rather than grabbing caffeine. The whole operation breathes with intention: from the repurposed furniture filling the cozy indoor space to the peaceful yard where regulars linger over espresso and pour-overs, it's clear the owners built this place for genuine connection, not quick transactions. Whether you're enjoying a vegan bowl or just soaking in the no-waste ethos, The Fox Den proves that doing good for the planet doesn't mean sacrificing great coffee or a welcoming vibe.”

In LOVE with this ‘no waste’ coffee shop, The Fox Den! What a novel concept. Thrifted furniture, plates, and silverware find renewed life here. I even got to pick my own unique mug, which is something I do at home everyday. Will come back often.
This is definitely a hidden treasure. We got lost and ran into it by accident had no idea it existed. They roast their own coffee and they use jars to serve coffee in and glass so that there’s no waste. They have lots of really cool little knickknacks in the front And snacks she can purchase as well. They do have a restroom that was nice and clean and you can either use paper or linen to dry your hands. They roast right there in the location. You can see absolutely everything they have live music and outdoor seating as well. This is a definite hidden treasure 10 out of 10 recommend I’ll definitely be going back to this location when I’m in town. They have a little bit of parking but plenty of street parking. The prices are good and they have a bring your own jar or you can pay $1.50 for you to go drink and when you come back they give you a dollar credit really need idea very eco-friendly and the coffee was delicious
This is the neatest coffee shop in CO. Great food, awesome coffee and the nicest vibe. I love just hanging out in the yard with an espresso. Oh yeah. Check out the cups! They are no waste and they mean it. I love that. Shows you can really be sustainable.
Was the first place to pop up on my list when I was looking for coffee, love the atmosphere and look and honestly everything about it. First time visiting and it's definitely going to stay on my list of places to go. Tried the cherry almond latte and veggies bowl so yummy 😋 you've got a great thing going! Keep it going! Enjoy the moment and dance like no one is watching
LOVE the zero waste and drove a half hour extra to support this cute shop! The vegan bowl came out nice and hot and the secret sauce definitely tasted delish! More beans, less rice and an actual serving of peppers and onions would have been amazing 🙂 Overall it was yummy and the service and atmosphere were fabulous, so I'd definitely come back! Definitely would love to see them go truly no-waste and not serve chicken eggs because there are so many sweet lives wasted (the male chicks) in the egg industry 💔 This is a fabulous concept and start! Thank you for being open on Memorial Day too 💓
