Crema's Take

This charming Kiwi bakery tucked away in a Windsor shopping center is a devoted following's secret weapon for authentic New Zealand meat pies that locals rave about as the best they've had in America, with flaky, buttery pastry and generous, flavorful fillings that keep people coming back. Beyond the celebrated pies, BurtoNZ turns out excellent sausage rolls, fresh in-house breads, and satisfying sandwiches, all best enjoyed at one of their cozy indoor tables or the little outdoor seating area where you can settle in and savor the genuine hospitality of owners who clearly care. It's the kind of unpretentious neighborhood spot that rewards wandering—part bakery, part gathering place, entirely beloved.

I'm English and love a meat pie!!! These are hands down the best meat pies I had since I've lived in the US. The pastry and fillings are delicious 😋 😍 👌

We stumbled on this bakery on a road trip. We now stop in as often as possible. I love the sausage roll. it's really full and not too heavy for how full it is. and the party is still flaky! We also grab the "cinnamon roll" and a loaf of bread every time. They are so delightful
