Lockwood Cafe

This is one of my top five coffee shops in Ames! I always love the lattes I get from here - they are always delicious and hit the spot. They have a lot of very unique house made syrups which I would recommend if you're a little more adventurous but I always love a lavender or vanilla. They also serve crepes here which I've only tried a couple but they are also yummy. The location itself is super eccentric with mismatched furniture just a very unique vibe

Had breakfast and coffee. Breve was great, crepes were wonderful. We shared 2 savory crepes and an apple crisp crepe all delicious! Friendly, courtesy staff. Will go again!

They're welcoming, attentive, and they make you feel like you’re part of the community not just a customer. Whether you're a regular or it's your first time, you’ll be treated with the same kindness and top-notch service. The cozy atmosphere and awesome staff make Lockwood a place you’ll want to come back to again and again ☕️

In town for the weekend and stumbled on this place to grab a quick coffee, and what a pleasant surprise! Such a cool spot in a unique location, and baristas were warm and inviting. Loved to see a free produce / canned goods cart and art from local artists for sale. There’s also a section that appears to host events. My crepe was delicious, and I’ll certainly be back whenever I’m in Ames again!

Wow, you knocked this one out of the park. Counter culture meets retro meets … everything. The food was creative and delicious. Presentation was chef level. Thank you for making food and people a higher priority than appearance and profit.
