Crema's Take

This cozy Minneapolis bakehouse excels at the artful marriage of exceptional pastries and genuinely excellent coffee, with standout items like buttery croissants, innovative savory Danishes, and a cold brew that's earned serious praise from regulars. The small, welcoming space strikes that perfect balance between a quick caffeine-and-pastry stop and a comfortable spot to linger with your laptop, all staffed by genuinely kind people who make you feel unhurried whether you're grabbing focaccia pizza or settling in for the afternoon. It's the kind of neighborhood spot that clearly puts care into both its baking and its community, sourcing local ingredients and creating an atmosphere where everyone—families, solo workers, friends meeting up—feels genuinely at home.

I love that they support local have many local treats and gifts available for sale. The owner is wonderful as well and I highly recommend going here. You can also order ahead and they'll have it ready for you at their pickup area. Support local!

Cute cafe & bakery! They had so many options for both drinks and food!! I got a Caramel Oat Milk Cold Brew and YUMMM!! This place has one of the best cold brews I've tasted. I also had the Savory Monkey Bread which was also super tasty! I got a regular chocolate chip cookie and a brownie too. Both of them were pretty mediocre, and I likely wouldn't buy again. As the other reviews mention, this place does seem to be a tad overpriced. The taste does not match the price, but it's still a really nice cafe. I wouldn't want that to take away from the employees or the environment because the staff here were some of the kindest baristas I've met. Although I came when it was busier, they urged me to take my time and helped me decide what to get. Amazing people. They only offer outdoor seating here and there is nowhere to sit indoors, not even for waiting for your order. This was really disappointing for me. I was hoping to sit down inside and read a nice book on a cozy chair, but realized pretty fast that the metal chairs and the outdoor breeze were the coziest I was gonna get haha. Nothing bad about that, but not quite what I was expecting for a pricey cafe. They also have a lovely mini market inside where a ton of sellers have their items displayed! I loved this because it showed how local this cafe is and how much they care for their community! -Although this was a nice addition, I would sooner recommend replacing them with benches or some sort of seating. Market items could be moved around the corner near the fridge area to utilize the now empty space. Just my input, but this place was truly lovely. I'll be coming back next summer on a nice sunny day to visit.

Small and cozy space with seating outside, everyone was so polite and friendly to me which I really appreciated since I did need a moment to look over the menu. The peaches and cream danish was delicious! Not too sweet with a great balance of flavors and I can definitely tell it was baked fresh just by how flaky and soft it was. I also enjoyed the monkey bread latte. I’ll definitely be back again for sure

Pleasantly surprised! I really liked the monkey bread and savory Danish pastry. Both were fun twists on classic baked items. I hope that innovation spirit continues. This place is a stones throw away from the hospitals in the area. The restaurant is pretty tiny and has barely any parking, but most patrons just grab and go. Staff here is super friendly and actually give you helpful suggestions. The wrapping on their box is a little annoying. I can't cut it with just my fingers and have to use a knife or rip it all off. Pretty excited to try other items on their menu!
