Daily Provisions

I attempted to have breakfast at DP this morning. I ordered and waited. A customer four people after me attempted to order a dozen pastries and was told that they only had two everything croissants left. My order contained a sandwich on an everything croissant. After noticing that the patron after me who had ordered the same sandwich as me received his food I got the attention of the waiter and asked her to check. She returned from the kitchen and told me they had sold out of the everything croissant and could not make my order. No solutions and no apology. I was aware that they had not yet fulfilled the order placed long after me that they’d promised the last of these to and suggested that I should not be picked as the loser of this situation. I had placed my order first. The waitress disappeared again and returned a moment later to again refuse my order, stating it was the managers decision. The manager never showed their face. The customer who would receive these items was still waiting. I was offered a refund. After leaving I realized this waiter who clearly had no regard for me and didn’t know who I was likely could not have refunded me without information. So I sent a message to the corporate email on their website. I received a boilerplate response telling me to wait the normal processing time and telling me some courtesy gift had been added to my profile. I checked my profile and there was no such gift conveyed. Who did they give the refund and gift to??? I replied asking these same questions and did not receive a response.

I didn’t care for my food but the customer service was so nice. It was a nice little place for my friend and I to sit talk and catch up. The desserts are really good as well. Was walking distance from the train stop that I took into town to visit friends.

Wow what a hopping spot on a weekday morning! Ordered with Mario who was friendly, kind and knowledgeable. He helped guide my order based around my nut allergy. Seating is a hot commodity especially on a rainy day but I found a spot just in time for my order to be brought out. The bacon egg and cheese sandwich on a poppyseed roll was top tier - fluffy roll, perfectly runny egg, thick cut bacon and just enough cheese. The fruit bowl was quite large and only the best fruits - berries and pineapple - no sad melons in sight. That coupled with a mimosa was the perfect city breakfast before a busy day. I also grabbed one of each cruller to take to work - definitely a must have! The texture was light and airy and each had such great flavor. 11/10 highly recommend

Visited from Texas and really enjoyed eating here. It was a simple meal and Marjorie was very kind and helpful! Her service was great as well. Not super expensive and the location is amazing. Perfect light meal for us to begin our trip! :)

Amazing place for a quick and delicious breakfast. Crullers were easily the highlight of the meal. We ordered right when they opened, and our food was out in a flash. The egg and cheese did not disappoint, and their Wake-Up sauce went so well with the dish. Their crullers were heavenly-- soft on the inside, crispy on the outside, and just the right amount of sweet. Overall, amazing place to grab breakfast!
