DayDream Cake Shop

Crema's Take
“Nestled in the Outer Sunset, this dessert-focused café crafts visually stunning cakes with a delicate touch—think airy layers and subtle sweetness rather than heavy indulgence, with standouts like their mango bento and tiramisu cakes that justify the $9 price tag. The welcoming, detail-oriented space feels like the perfect reward after exploring nearby Golden Gate Park or Lands End, making it an ideal spot for families and friends looking to celebrate something special with a slice that's almost too pretty to eat.”

My daughter and I drive to San Francisco from San Jose every so often. We take a long walk on Lands End trail or in Golden Gate Park or wherever. Then we pick a random spot on Google Maps for a treat. This weekend my finger landed on Daydream Cake Shop. And a treat it was! We had the delicious little Snowy Cloud Cake. Delectable, with fresh lychee bits in cream light mousse. I chose the Dubai Chocolate Mousse slice. Also delicious, though a little heavy for me. The strawberry rose tea was perfect - not too sweet, not too perfumey, just right. The little shop itself is just adorable, like something from a fairy story and the young man serving these treats was friendly and charming. We’ll be back!
This place is cute! The cakes are cute! Flavor isn't mindblowiny, at least for the one that looked like a slice of cheese. The cheesecake pictured was the best of them all!
Such a cute little dessert shop in outer sunset. I got the mango bento cake for a friends birthday and it was so pretty. I liked the tiramisu and hazelnut praline cake, light and not overly sweet. And they so many other cute desserts. Make sure to check it out!
Airy light cream with slightest sweetness and softest cake. Will go back for mango cheese Their cakes are so pretty the box for pick up is so cute I didn’t want to take out. Call to order in advance and pay over text so easy so convenient Earl Grey Cream Cake English Earl Grey Cream, Earl Grey Chiffon Cake
Pretty! They pay attention to details. Every piece of cake is an average of $9 drinks $6.5 some sweets taste better than others, for example the chocolate pyramid was good, but the yuzu cheesecake taste a little bit like perfume. The chocolate molten cake was the regular japanese chocolate cake with mousse on top. The place is pretty and small, they only have three tables with 2 chairs each, staff was super friendly and fast with the service. I would like to go back to try other things.
