Crema's Take

West Side Exchange in College Station is a well-organized thrift shop with a genuinely friendly vibe and clean, pleasant atmosphere that makes browsing enjoyable. While their pricing can feel unpredictable and the selection skews practical rather than trendy, regulars appreciate the kind staff and solid finds for home decor and everyday items at reasonable rates. It's the kind of place where a chat with the employees might be as rewarding as what you toss in your basket.

Clean, smelled pretty decent, and tidy store. The pricing system for clothes is weird; they price it based on condition so you have no idea if it’s going to be $3 or $7, and it’s up to the cashier to determine the price (this is the worst pricing system I’ve ever seen). I understand their funds support a mission, but their pricing is very high on most household items as well.

The man who answered the phone was EXTREMELY rude and VERY UNHELPFUL. Definitely wouldn’t be somewhere i would want to donate after an exchange like that.

This place is well organized and labeled for a second hand store. I don't recommend coming here looking for vintage clothing or anything cool and trendy. This place is more for people getting back on their feet looking for housewares and basic kitchen items. Literally this place is filled to the brim with appliances and kitchen utensils so definitely come for that. The service was kind and the atmosphere welcoming.

Old shop very friendly. Some prices were high but found one item to gift to purchase. Enjoyed chatting with employees. Some items on top shelves not for sale, display only. But enjoyed looking. Found out they regularly send truck to pick up merchandise at the Navasota store, which explains why they have mostly clothing and broken or outdated items. (See my review at that location). Explains why this store stocked with many antiques and items decorated on walls, many NOT FOR SALE!!
