Crema's Take
“This spacious downtown gem welcomes everyone from hiked-out teenagers to traveling remote workers with genuine warmth and a thoughtful atmosphere that's peaceful enough for focused work yet convivial enough for board games and conversation. Beyond solid pour overs and house-made syrups, The Ouachitas impresses with hearty, fresh food that punches above expectations—think tender duck wings and oversized mozzarella sticks alongside full breakfast options, all served in a beautifully designed space that feels like a natural gathering spot for the community.”

We stopped in here after a 13+ mile hike with 5 teenage boys. Everyone was hungry and thirsty. From the moment we walked in till the time we left everyone was friendly and welcoming. The environment was warm and inviting. The menu is limited, but has enough that everyone was able to find something they wanted. Everyone enjoyed what they had. There were several different kinds of pizza, wings, and I had the Caesar salad, which was delicious. I ordered an Americano to go and it was delicious. We found out me favorite place for our after hike meal!
This is a really great place to eat downtown Mena. The pizza was delicious, the duck wings were tender, the house salad was fresh, and the mozzarella cheese sticks are HUGE! This is a great date night or special occasion place! They also have bakery items, fresh beer, and coffee! It is a bit pricey but in our book the flavor was all there and worth it.
Really nice coffee shop and place to eat. I was surprised at how big the space was and how pretty it was inside. The barista were very nice. I am traveling through and needed good Wi-Fi and tables to work and it worked great. Would definitely recommend!
Peaceful and welcoming atmosphere. Quiet enough to focus, and just noisy enough to play a board game and talk without distracting others. Ordered a half sweet caramel latte. Their house made caramel syrup was delicious. Also ordered an iced Americano with their Shady Mountain blend, and it had forward notes of citrus following with a balanced dark chocolate bitterness on the tail end. Great spot, would definitely visit again!
Surprisingly good food in a kind of combo coffee house/bar setting. There's nothing special here but the portions are good the ingredients appear to be fresh and the menu is tasty. I especially enjoyed the queso fries
