Maple Street Biscuit Company

Crema's Take
“This Nashville institution is famous for its creative, flavor-packed breakfast sandwiches—think chicken and waffles with pimento cheese and pepper jelly, or their signature Squawking Goat—paired with genuinely excellent house-made gravy and strong, well-executed coffee that clearly takes their craft seriously. The biscuits are the star here, and staff generously share their enthusiasm with complimentary cinnamon biscuits and warm hospitality that make it feel less like a trendy spot and more like a gathering place for the neighborhood.”

Excellent biscuits and gravy (one of the better gravies I have had). I also enjoyed the strong coffee! I highly recommend this place.
This place was spectacular! Really! You have to get the chicken on the waffle with pimento cheese, jalapeños, and pepper jelly. This combination is so delicious. We also got a healthier option, which was good, but we were definitely going for the less healthier option of the fried chicken and waffles. we sat outside, which was nice. If you have an enormously large party, there is a gigantic table that seats 12 ! The staff was super friendly and accommodating, and was bringing things out to us even though they really didn’t have to. I highly recommend and when I’m in Nashville again I will come back even though this is actually a chain. I wish we had one in New Orleans.
The famous squawking goat sandwich was great! The elements came together beautifully for a satisfying (and heavy) breakfast. The staff was lovely and gave me a Cinammon biscuit on the house as well, which was a nice touch.
We needed a stop for a light lunch while waiting for a flat tired fixed at Firestone down the street, so we went. 1. The wedge side salad: 4/5- good salad but the portion was really small. Dressing was creamy and tangy enough, good taste and flavors. 2. Farm sandwich: 4/5 - tasty, breaded chicken tasted good, not too heavy on breading and salty, very crispy and good flavors. Biscuit was good and not too doughy. Went well with apple butter. It was a very good sandwich. I would pick this over KFC or yucky Chick-fil-a which is too salty. 3. Potato tots: 3/4 - crispy and tasted good.
: --- Maple Street Biscuit Company is such a cute place with a warm and inviting atmosphere. The staff was friendly, the service was quick, and the restaurant itself was very clean—including the bathrooms, which is always a plus. We ordered the Five and Dime Biscuit and the Squawking Goat Biscuit, and both were absolutely delicious. Since the Squawking Goat was featured on the Food Network, I knew I had to give it a try, and it did not disappoint—the pepper jelly was superb and really tied the whole dish together. While waiting for our order, we were given some complimentary sweet biscuits (I can’t remember the name of them, but they were tasty too). Little touches like that make the experience even better. Overall, Maple Street Biscuit Co. is a great spot for a hearty, flavorful meal with excellent service. I’ll definitely be back!
