Nova Coffee Co

Crema's Take
“This intimate Central Coast gem excels at doing both the rushed and the leisurely equally well, whether you're grabbing a crisp espresso-based drink from the drive-thru or settling into their expansive fenced backyard with coffee in hand. The thoughtful touches—like a dedicated play area for toddlers complete with engaging toys—show they're genuinely thinking about the whole experience, not just the coffee in your cup. Staff warmth and genuine care seem to be the throughline here, making Nova feel like the kind of neighborhood spot you'll keep coming back to.”

Errrehhh ladies and gents! I have been to many coffee spots on the Central Coast and I have to say Nova is my favorite! Small, intimate, convenient and amazing staff! They have a drive thru and a mobile app that are life saving! I am a gluten free customer and I appreciate that they have gluten free and sugar free options for people like me. Even though there in no indoor setting, they do have a nice outdoor seating area to relax in. Give them a chance and you won’t regret it!
I first went to nova coffee six months ago and got a delicious flat white although they charged six dollars. The next time the coffee was good but that time they charged 475 so I gave them a nice tip then over the next few times it basically was $5.25 but the price did vary. It seemed like they just make that price up. It was never consistent. Always the same drink. Then about a month ago I went and the flat white was made very poorly. Basically it was just milk and coffee no steamed milk charge 575.Then I went again just to give them a chance and again it was just milk and coffee no steamed milk as it should have. Very inconsistent sorry to say.
The only thing that would make Nova a better coffee spot would be if it was walking distance from my house. Whether I’m in a hurry and can only stop by to grab a cup from the drive thru, or have time to kill on a pretty day and want to snag a bite and enjoy their back patio… Nova checks all the boxes! (Plus the staff is always kind!)
Nova Coffee uniquely adds creativity to your coffee experience. Nova added a huge fenced-in backyard, with toys, for toddlers to play. The ball-coaster will intrigue toddlers for a moment. Drinking a good cup coffee in the backyard under the palm trees allowed me to enjoy the mild summer weather. Finally Nova offers drive thru service for those who have to get and go. When you are in the neighborhood, stop by and enjoy a moment. I look forward to drinking another good cup of coffee at Nova Coffee. Company.
Have been here twice and I like the new lol and feel of this location updated. Great coffee and super nice people. Want to try some bites and sit in the backyard sometime. Definitely will be back. (Update) I have continued to come and the people at Nova keep hitting it out of the park. Recently, was hungry after 2pm and two other coffee shops in the area said no food :( Nova had nice warm gluten free bagels and enjoyed with their delicious coffee in their back yard. Continue to recommend “ding ding” coffee (aka Nova) to coffee lovers passing by. Why “ding ding”? Because that have an actual drive up with a fun little ding as you pull up to get your coffee.
