I love this establishment and encourage anyone in Bloomington to eat here! It has been a perfect constant for years now. It’s such a fun little environment and the homemade baking is just phenomenal. I have been eating these biscuits and gravy for days in a row and can drink a whole crockpot of their coffee. Also, so cool to see the cold brew freshly brewed for the 1pm energy boost. It’s a perfect place in Ellettsville to get a quick breakfast or to-go morning/lunch special and I can’t say enough about the service. The prices are fair and it’s got that familiar family feel. Don’t miss out on this hidden gem and I can say with confidence that it won’t disappoint.
My wife’s favorite meal is breakfast. This Saturday morning I decided to try the Caffeinated Cook in Ellettsville. She loved the place. I had a scone and orange juice. She had the same. The scones were so good we took a box of them home. The atmosphere is friendly and we had a great experience. Highly recommend. Wayne & Dalane Anderson.
There is no better cafe in Monroe County. Scones are perfect, Biscuits and gravy are superb and Amy herself just a shining gem I love to always see!
Very small & cozy place with fabulous food! Variety of things you just don’t see in every coffee shop. I can’t wait to go back for another pistachio scone - oh my word, I want one now!!!! The avocado toast was perfect and the coffee was hot and delicious w/bold flavor. Don’t miss this place, worth the drive!
The cutest coziest little bakery. Scones are out of this world, legitimately. Soft, fluffy on the inside, nice little crunch on the outside with icing drizzled on top. Wonderful selection of flavors. The scones are big like double the size of a regular scone. Friendliest workers and relaxing atmosphere. They really take care of you here and want to make sure you’re enjoying the food and service which is ALWAYS top notch. Reminds me of southern hospitality. So thankful we have this place in Ellettsville!
