Crema's Take

This family-owned Gilbert spot is doing authentic New York bagels right in the Arizona desert, with a no-nonsense approach that keeps lines wrapped around the parking lot for good reason. The coffee has a tasty, honest roast that pairs perfectly with their legendary breakfast sandwiches—think Taylor ham, egg, and cheese on a proper kaiser roll—made with fresh ingredients and that genuine NYC bagel technique you won't find elsewhere in town. It's quick, it's consistent, and it feels like the real deal rather than a polished imitation.

The real freaking deal. Got a morning medic (Taylor ham, egg, and cheese on a kaiser roll) and a large coffee. Tasty roast to the coffee. The sandwich was just perfection. Simple sandwich, but the bread was fluffy, the cheese was gooey, the eggs were neither over nor undercooked. Well seasoned. Literally no notes. There was a long line, but I got my food about 20 minutes from arrival, which for this kind of quality, is well worth it.

Bagels are legit. Breakfast sandwhiches are also amazing. The line was out the door and down the parking lot but moved pretty quickly.

Best breakfast sandwiches in town. Large portions. Fresh ingredients. True NY style and feel. Loxal Family owned and operated. Best bagels around.

I’ve been multiple times and it is always fantastic and fast service every time. They even cut the bagels like New York bagels and taste like them too!!! Also they give you a proper amount of cream cheese here!

Bongiorno Bagels is such a great spot! I tried the Hot Double and the Mariana, and both were absolutely delicious. I also BYOB — a blueberry with strawberry cream cheese. While the cream cheese was a little too artificial and overpowered the blueberry in my opinion, the bagel itself was still good. I really enjoyed their unsweetened passionfruit tea too — super refreshing. The wait can be a bit long on weekends, but totally understandable given how popular the place is. Definitely worth it!
