Stone Mill Bread & Cafe - Springdale

Crema's Take
“Stone Mill Bread & Cafe is an espresso-focused neighborhood gem where the cortados and cinnamon rolls shine just as brightly as the genuinely warm hospitality from the owner and staff. Their sourdough sandwiches and house-made trail bars anchor a menu that takes breakfast and slow coffee seriously, making it the kind of place where you'll linger longer than expected in a family-friendly atmosphere that feels both welcoming and intentional.”

After reading all the great reviews, we decided to give this place a try. Ordered a half pastrami, half corned beef sandwhich. What an absolute disappointment! Sandwich was a joke. This place should be embarrassed to serve a sandwich that looks like the one pictured. Never going back.
The staff and owner were incredibly kind and welcoming. The cinnamon roll was perfectly sweet, and the sourdough sandwich with basil pesto was absolutely amazing. Great food and a lovely atmosphere. I would definitely come back.
I was really looking forward to trying this place as their reviews were quite nice. Their breakfast sandwich was quite tasty that’s for sure. The big disappointment came from the staff member who told me they are known for amazing muffins, so I tried one and If the review was based solely on the muffin I would give them only 1 star. The muffin was high priced for how small it was and it had minimal internal toppings and the muffin was extremely dry. Overall I’d come back for the breakfast sandwich, but never get the muffin unless you like to be disappointed.
This place is so incredible! I don’t say that lightly. Their food is fantastic and so are the prices and people. We are huge fans of their trail bars, their breakfasts and their cortado. We hav gotten the avocado toast, breakfast 101 & the breakfast sandwich, every time they’re a hit!!! Highly recommend!
I didn’t expect to enjoy this place as much as I did! My wife loves places like Panera and Subway, so she thought this sounded good while we were out furniture shopping. I was reluctant but agreed - I always say “I can make a sandwich at home” but I can honestly say these sandwiches are worth the money. I got the Club and it was very filling, and the bread was the best part. I make sourdough at home so I feel like my standard is high! I thought the overall value was fine, comparable to Panera - I think it was $12 for a whole Club with a drink and chips. Overall I recommend Stone Mill Bread & Cafe!
