Waypoint Cafe
65 Ludlow St, New York, NY
Crema's Take
“This New York internet cafe doubles as a gaming hub where you can actually pull off a four-hour Valorant marathon without your keyboard falling apart (mostly), complete with arcade cabinets and Smash setups that draw a tight-knit community of players and spectators. The vibe skews heavily toward the gaming crowd rather than traditional laptop workers, with the staff clearly passionate about hosting tournaments and watch parties alongside their surprisingly solid food and drink offerings. It's the kind of place where you'll find polite staff, functional PCs, and a genuine sense of community—though maybe test a few keyboards before settling in for the long haul.”

Would give it 0 stars if I could. Virtually every keyboard is missing at least 3 keys, switched 3 computers to launch League and still wouldn’t work. An active leak meant no food and drinks either. Terrible experience
Had an awesome time here! Spent around 4 hours gaming played Overwatch, Valorant, and Dota 2 and everything ran super smoothly. The setup was great, and the atmosphere made it even better. Enjoyed a warm cup cake and a good cup of coffee while playing perfect combo! Definitely one of the best spots to relax, game, and snack. Highly recommend!
Very fun place to just chill out in, and they have plenty of PCs in the back to play games with others on, or play Smash in the front. They also have food of course, but it seems like you're able to bring your own food possibly? Even if you couldn't however, everything else offered is rather nice, and it'd be pretty hard for me to give this place anything less than a 5 star.
Quality place with good food and very polite workers! A great place for the gaming community. Definitely check it out! They also have a very unique arcade version of "Enter the Gungeon!"
I went to the NYXL watch party organized by the 5 Deadly Venoms guys, so my review isn't really about the place as an internet cafe (since I didn't sit down on any of their computers to play games or anything like that), but as a spot for an e-sports watch party. And it was absolutely fantastic for that, Waypoint was totally on board with the watch party and had no problems with us NYXL fans making a LOT of noise rooting for the team while playing the game. The prices are quite low for Manhattan, and the strawberry lemonade and chocolate muffin I had were very good. My only negative is that it seemed like food was being fried right behind the counter, and the smell was quite strong and noticeable for a few minutes. Mind you, it smelled delicious and actually made me hungrier, but if you dislike the aroma of fried food it would have been bothersome. And it was just the smell, there was no grease in the air or the floor (which was spotless, as was the rest of the cafe).
