I have been here 4 times and I owe Cafe La Flore 4 reviews. From the first time I visited, the service, food and prices have been nothing less than exceptional. It shows true passion in the craft to see their presentation and intention with everything served from their menu, and as much as I want to keep this a hidden gem in the sunset, it would be a crime to not share this cafe with the world! Do yourself a favor and have a fantastic breakfast or lunch here, the customer service will make you feel as if you've been a regular for years. I love this place, they should have more recognition in the city!
This is an amazing place if you just want a real meal and the cost is amazing and affordable. Pepe is the best cafe owner in the entire city. Just come and try it out, you won’t regret it! I’ve had multiple different dishes here but the smoked salmon sandwich was off the hook. Thx Pepe.
My brother’s friend who lived in SF for 7 years actually recommended this place to us, so my partner and I decided to come here for our anniversary! The sandwiches were absolutely amazing! My partner said it was like he was fine dining a sandwich. We got the roasted beef sandwich and the chicken salami sandwich. The sauces in both sandwiches were so flavorful and the presentation was beautiful. Both my partner’s and my favorite was the roasted beef sandwich. I got the soup side with my sandwich and it was so delicious and felt super home-y. The service was also amazing! Super kind, sweet, and patient. I will definitely be coming back here again, and maybe next time I’ll bring my laptop to work!
Plenty of seats. No waiting. Came on a Sunday. For starter, we all had the Cesar salad. The croutons were freshly baked. Cesar dressing was very light. It came with lots of grated parmesan cheese. Excellent salad. I ordered the Nor-Cal Jack sandwich and my wife ordered the Nor-Cal Cesar wrap. The Nor-Cal Jack came on an ultra light roll, essentially a French baguette. Seems like it was a milk bread. Very delicious and well made. The plating for the sandwich and wrap were like a 5 star restaurant. You can see the chef put his heart and soul in his work and takes pride in what he has prepared.
My family absolutely loved this place! The food was fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared—we enjoyed every dish. The service was outstanding, and we had such a great time chatting with our server. The cappuccinos were so good that we ended up ordering three more to take with us! I also have a concussion and asked if the music could be turned down a little; the staff were incredibly kind and accommodating, which I deeply appreciated. We’ll definitely be back, and I can’t recommend this place highly enough!
