Crema's Take
“Just steps from Hilton Head's beach, this spot nails the laid-back coastal coffee shop experience with genuinely friendly staff and a thoughtful menu that goes beyond the usual—think excellent lattes with real flavor and standout dishes like their famous avocado toast and chicken salad alongside quality pastries. The expansive indoor and outdoor seating makes it equally perfect for a quick grab-and-go or lingering over breakfast, and families appreciate the dedicated kid-friendly area that lets everyone relax without stress. It's the kind of place where even a Sunday morning wait feels worth it because the coffee is consistently excellent and the whole atmosphere just feels unhurried and welcoming.”

Nice laid back spot for coffee and breakfast. The customer service was fantastic. The coffee options are standard coffee shop and good quality. Several breakfast options as well. The Avocado Toast was excellent.
We were looking for lunch and settled on Carolina Coffee & Crumbs. The chicken salad was amazing. The blueberry muffin and latte were excellent too.
Super cute coffee spot just steps from the beach! Great food selection and an expansive coffee menu. Tons of Indoor and outdoor seating.. and they have a small area for kids to hang out. This place is definitely a must!
Our lattes were excellent and full of flavor. Even though there was a long line and wait on a Sunday morning, it was expected and worth it. The outdoor seating was comfortable and made for a relaxing spot to enjoy the beautiful weather. We didn’t order food, but the pastries on display looked delicious.
⭐️⭐️⭐️☆☆ Carolina Coffee & Crumbs is in a perfect spot—right off the beach at Coligny Plaza—with a fun, breezy coastal vibe. The staff was amazing and genuinely friendly, making the experience feel welcoming from the start. The menu is surprisingly broad, offering breakfast, lunch, snacks, coffee drinks, and even cocktails all day. I ordered a cortado, but unfortunately it missed the mark—the milk was overheated and the espresso lacked depth of flavor. That said, I’d still come back to try a latte or some of their food, which looked great. For casual coffee drinkers, it’s a charming stop by the beach. For more serious coffee lovers, you might want to explore other spots on the island for a richer espresso experience.
