Crema's Take

This beloved family-owned spot in Ventura has mastered the art of the welcoming weekend brunch, where Eddie and Maria's genuine hospitality makes every guest feel like part of the family—and yes, that includes your pup, who'll be treated to complimentary treats and water on the patio. Beyond the traditional breakfast standards, their chilaquiles and crispy-fried sides prove they take the food seriously, while reasonably priced seasonal mimosas and reliable service keep people coming back to make it their favorite Sunday morning ritual. It's the kind of place where locals linger over coffee and conversation in a warm, unpretentious atmosphere that prioritizes making everyone—two-legged or four-legged—genuinely comfortable.

Eddie and Maria. Phenomenal!! Solid food, and the service that Eddie brought to the table was both engaging and excellent. Food came promptly, drinks are priced reasonably, mimosa options are seasonal and fresh, no artificial here. Overall strongly recommend!!

I love this place! It has quickly become our favorite Sunday morning spot. Our pup loves hanging out on the patio and they even bring out a treat and bowl of water for her and happily make her a bowl of scrambled eggs with cheese from the new dog menu. Their caramel iced coffee is delicious! My favorite breakfast is currently the breakfast burrito with sausage added. Anything with their sausage patties involved is guaranteed to be tasty. The fresh fruit is always great, always fresh berries, banana and pineapple, and not just a bowl of cheap melon chunks like most places.

I really liked this spot. Came in around 10am for brunch and it was packed. No line but it was full. The service was excellent! The food was delicious. I tried the chiliquiles plate and it was packed with flavor. The green chili over the chips was perfect not too hot or mild, the beans were tasty and cooked to perfection. And the coffee was on POINT! The ambiance was fresh, with light yellow colored walls to match the sunlit morning. Doors were opened wide with fresh air rolling in and music lightly played in the background to match the chatter of all who came to enjoy fresh cooked food. Hope to come again! Thank you for a great experience. 👍
