Crema's Take

This female-owned Philadelphia gem radiates warmth and genuine community spirit, where the staff knows regulars by name (and their dogs too) and creates a genuinely inclusive space that celebrates all who walk through the door. Beyond the reliably delicious specialty coffees and pastries, Sunday Girl's bright, chill atmosphere makes it equally perfect for a focused work session or lingering conversation with friends, all while your four-legged companion is just as welcomed as you are. Reviewers keep coming back for the combination of quality drinks, kind energy, and that rare feeling of being truly seen and accepted.

Such a bright space and welcoming staff to match the energy. This is a dog friendly cafe and everyone, including other patrons, seemed to love dogs as well so you won’t feel out of place bringing your pup inside for a coffee or snack!

I love this coffee shop. They are local, female owned, female empowering, accepting, kind, funny! I’m not a coffee regular but regular enough that they know my dog, who isn’t fond of other dogs and so nice about it! They make great coffee, source locally for baked goods cheese products all kinds of stuff. I truly can’t say enough kind things about Becca and this business she’s built. Support small biz and come love on Sunday girl. It’s about the positive vibrant community energy!

I rarely leave reviews but I think leaving one for Sunday Girl is worth it. Sunday Girl has become one of my favorite places in Philly not just because of their delicious coffees (which actually tastes like coffee and not like sugar in a cup (please bring back the banana bread latte and never get rid of the carrot cake latte)), but because of the community that Becca and her team work so hard to create. Every single time I go in there, my heart just feels happy. The amount of amazing conversations I've had, how much I've learned from others and about the Old City community and Philly in general, is something you will never get anywhere else. So thank you again Sunday Girl for being a safe space for so many of us!

Super cute coffee shop serving up delicious drinks. It has a chill vide, and all are welcome. The services was friendly and attentive. Can’t wait to come back to try the food. Especially the ice cream with a croissant cone. 📸 click the photos to see what we ordered
