Crema's Take

Crackskull's is a beloved community hub in Newmarket where excellent coffee and pastries take a backseat to the genuine sense of belonging that keeps regulars coming back year after year. Beyond the traditional drinks and light fare, this cozy spot hosts poetry readings and local art, making it as much a gathering place for creative souls as it is a reliable caffeine destination. With a rating of 4.8 stars earned through loyal patronage, it's the kind of place where the staff clearly know your name and the atmosphere feels like an extension of home.

What to expect

Classic coffee drinks done right. A slow-sit, laptop-friendly spot, good for meetings. Pastries and light food on the menu.

Long live Crackskull’s, a Newmarket staple. I do wish they were open slightly earlier but we can’t all be morning bros. They do poetry readings, have dope art, sell local shit & has the dopest chillest vibe around. 10/10 would drink my coffee here.

Decent spot to grab caffeine and choose from a selection of bagels and baked goods. The books really don't seem to be the focus here; the layout is a bit cramped and it's hard to navigate around the shelves. Seems to be a hangout spot for the local/college crowd.
