Crema's Take

Cupitol strikes that perfect balance between serious espresso craft and approachable comfort, with a spacious, welcoming atmosphere that works equally well for a solo work session or lingering breakfast with friends. Their full breakfast menu shines—think perfectly executed wild mushroom omelets and buttery croissants—paired with creamy, flavorful espresso drinks and genuinely fresh pastries like their standout tiramisu. Downtown Chicago prices with genuine hospitality make this a neighborhood gem that locals and visitors alike keep coming back to.

The coffee was outstanding—smooth, creamy, and full of flavor—and the tiramisu was absolutely delicious: soft, fresh, and perfectly balanced. The atmosphere is cozy and welcoming, ideal for relaxing, chatting, or spending quality time. The service was friendly and quick. I would definitely come back without hesitation. Highly recommended.

This was a great spot for breakfast. The prices were decent for downtown Chicago and the staff was friendly. The food was delicious! You order at the counter and they bring the food to your table. Nothing fancy, but very good food! Would definitely return.

Staying at the Blackstone Autograph we wanted a wonderful breakfast that was hot so we gave the Cupitol we ordered shroomed omelet, eggs with meat plate bacon and sausage, croissant sandwich with two eggs and sausage and Gruyère cheese, blueberry muffins and mixed seasonal fruit and a chocolate croissant.

Was a Chicago visitor for a day and a local recommended this place for breakfast. I really loved a wild mushroom omelette with cappuccino: amazing. Very nice atmosphere lots of space ,people can work there. Great location not far from Navy Pier. Very clean and modern.

Great atmosphere, and so happy to see labelled vegan options on the menu. I felt the avocado toast was a bit lackluster and could use some more seasonings, like everything bagel or even more salt etc. But I loved having the options and would go again.
