Dusty Coast Sodas

Crema's Take
“Dusty Coast Sodas brings the joy of crafted sodas and creative cold brew drinks to Lubbock at prices that won't break the bank. While service consistency can be hit-or-miss, the drinks themselves shine—customers rave about house specialties like the Flatland and appreciate that their sodas taste noticeably fresher than competitors around town. It's the kind of casual spot worth stopping by on your morning commute if you're craving something a little more interesting than the usual chain options.”

It's a great place and cheaper than Sonic! They are pretty fast as well. The only complaint I have is I go through around the same time during the week (on my way to work) the problem is its never the same pricing. Kind of depends on who is ringing it up. I always pay with cash cause its cheaper
This is the second time they’ve made a mistake. First time, I was charged double. I called the store after realizing it and told them there was a mistake and asked if they could just refund that money owed back to the card and they said no sorry there was nothing they could do. Second time, I ordered 2 of the same drink and I got something completely different. Of course, not realizing it until I get home or I would’ve addressed it there. It’s frustrating! I think the employees need to pay a little more attention.
I thought the drinks were great, but service was subpar. The girl rolled her eyes at me and did not show any excitement to see the customer. For $4 drinks, I would expect some kindness. She was alone, so there’s some grace for that, but given that sales drive success, keeping the customer coming back should be a priority.
No complaints with the service here. However, the drinks did not taste as good as the other soda shop town. It is noted on their menu but their pricing only reflects cash prices. When compared to the competitor, it is more than double the cost to buy the same sort of drink with a card which is my primary payment method. Maybe once they get past their start up costs they can even out pricing.
I got the flatland with regular Dr.pepper thankfully the soda taste like it has a new water filter. definitely definitely recommend the soda. It’s a taste better than anyone out here in Lubbok.
