Crema's Take

Santa Fe Cafe brings genuine New Mexican hospitality to the Lowcountry, where a hands-on manager named George greets you at the door and the kitchen delivers standout dishes like their signature Painted Desert Soup and perfectly executed cowboy cut ribeye. The vibe here is unrushed and welcoming, perfect for lingering over breakfast or a leisurely lunch with portions that won't disappoint, backed by the kind of attentive service that keeps people coming back.

1sr, would definitely go back! Manager, host and server, Emily, all top notch. My husband had Caesar salad. He felt it needed a touch more dressing, and shaved parmesan to make it perfect. He appreciated the anchovies on rim of bowl. Both of us had dinner combination with goat cheese chile relleno, sweet corn tamale and a wild mushroom cheese enchilada with green & red chile sauce. The relleno was outstanding. Exceptional, IMHO. Kudos to the chef. Enchilada was interesting and tasty. Sweet tamale was a bust for both of us. Would be great if you offered pork tamale for an up charge, though I appreciate your effort to offer a vegetarian option. We enjoyed our Valentine's dinner. Thanks, Emily, for great service.

New Mexican style cuisine prepared perfectly w/ friendly, fast service. Highly recommend their signature Painted Desert Soup, Ceviche & literally any Main Course & Dessert! Their original location is on Hilton Head Island w/ a more intimate, authentic vibe & rooftop dining. One star taken off for NOT having Christmas Style Chile's (red & green)! C'mon, this is a New Mexican staple. Even Hatch chile's would be acceptable. Also, having Piñon Coffee would be amazing! (World Market sells it in the back of the store... 👀)

Went for lunch today and had a great experience. The door was opened as we walked up and we were greeted by the manager. I believe his name is George but I could be wrong. I asked but I have the memory of a cabbage. Together, he and Rebecka (pretty sure that's right,) took amazing care of us. Super responsive but not over bearing. Burrito was fantastic and the Enchilada my friend got looked great. Will definitely be back!

Everything you know and love from their Hilton Head Island Location and more! Cowboy cut bone in blackened ribeye never disappoints! Don’t forget the painted desert soup ! Service and food quality is on point. Definitely one of the best restaurants in Bluffton!

This place was UNREAL. food was SO good and huge portion sizes were huge. The bulgogi wonton tacos were to die for (phone did not eat first). Though the food was already a 10/10 and would’ve had us coming back, the service from our waitress Chris was the best. She was so kind and full of energy we loved her. Definitely will be back.
