The Israeli-inflected food menu (hummus tahini, shakshuka, green machine smoothies) punches well above typical café fare, and the Upper East Side location has somehow avoided becoming precious or crowded, staying cozy and welcoming instead. Come here to linger for hours with a book, or to be part of a community that actually feels like one.”
