Crema's Take
“This downtown Atlanta spot excels as a leisurely breakfast and brunch destination where the tofu scramble and full menu keep regulars coming back for genuine, satisfying food. The atmosphere strikes that perfect balance for lingering over coffee and conversation with friendly staff, though consistency issues in both the kitchen and pastry case suggest they're still finding their footing. If you're seeking a cozy neighborhood gathering spot with solid traditional coffee drinks and hearty breakfast fare, it's worth a visit—just manage expectations on specialty drinks like matcha.”

The vibe is nice, and the staff is friendly. The matcha latte was arguably one of the worst I’ve ever had. It tasted like straight up steamed milk & nothing else. I also got their spinach salad with fried chicken. It wasn’t bad, but I did think it was funny that it seemed they put a whole bag of spinach in the salad, but only gave me like 4 onion rings and 5 strawberries. That’s wild to call that a salad lol
Great food I’ve tried almost everything off the menu and I must add my taste buds were jumping for happiness 🤗
I’m a food safety manger and I would like to see som things change. Didn’t have the best experience. However my worry is in the kitchen. I ordered a salad and the dressing was very expired the balsamic was chunky which isn’t normal and I had a very bland salad. Attempt to call to notify the store because mistakes happen but not call ing is available. I hope with leaving this comment, the kitchen staff will do a better job with checking their inventory or storage in proper temperatures to ensure it quality before serving it to customers .
This is my go-to breakfast place downtown. Everything I’ve tried on the menu has been fantastic; my favorite is the tofu scramble…it has a nice mix of squash, peppers, mushrooms, and other veggies and it’s perfectly cooked and seasoned. The hot drinks have always been great too. The service here is excellent now (this wasn’t always true in the past, but it seems they’ve worked the kinks out). Great, friendly employees as well. Eating breakfast here is something I always look forward to.
One of the girls working the counter seemed a bit grouchy, but the guy was nice. The pastries I got (cinnamon roll, sausage roll) didn't seem fresh, but they weren't awful. The chicken was juicy but was a bit chewy and lacked enough seasoning; the ham was good, though. However, the star of the show was the peanut butter French toast. It was legit one of the best things I've ever tasted. It was crunchy on the outside due to the cereal, but gooey on the inside due to the generous amount of peanut butter and the fact that it's absolutely drenched in brown sugar butter sauce. The portion is also massive.
