Crema's Take

Native Coffee is a light-roast focused destination co-owned by legendary coffee producer Diego Bermudez, known for bringing those coveted Castillo beans to the forefront of their espresso and pour-over offerings. The beans shine with bright fruity and floral characteristics that really sing on their own, making this a haven for coffee purists while also serving up excellent milk-based drinks for those who want them. It strikes that rare balance of being both a serious, focused workspace for getting things done and a genuinely welcoming gathering spot with enough warmth and liveliness to make meeting friends here feel special.

The coffee here leans heavily toward fruity and floral notes, and they’ve gone with an extremely light roast. While that works for some people, it really doesn’t pair well with cream or milk the flavors just get lost. It feels like this place would shine more if they focused on specialty pour-overs and cold brews, where lighter roasts actually make sense. Either that, or they should add at least a medium-to-light roast option for people who prefer milk-based drinks.

I’ve been thinking about visiting this place for so long and finally had the chance to do it. Native is co-owned by legendary coffee producer Diego Bermudez, the mind behind famous castillo beans that you get from various famous roasters around the world. You can find Diego’s beans here but also they are offering beans from other growers. Service friendly and the coffee is one of the best in DFW

I’ve lived in Dallas for almost a decade now, and Native has been consistently a great DFW coffee shop to me in every area! Their seasonal menu is always so good, from the espresso/drink to the presentation! I often like to ask the staff for their seasonal recommendations since anything you get here would be a good choice. The shop is full of plants and natural light and is perfect for remote work. Do note it can get busy since it’s so well-loved by the community, but I do like (and thrive in) that kind of working environment so!

This is an ideal coffee spot for getting work done or meeting up with colleagues and friends. The atmosphere strikes the perfect balance, calm and comfortable enough to focus, yet lively enough for conversations and work meetings without feeling disruptive. Plenty of people working on laptops, which makes it feel very welcoming for remote work. Whether you’re looking for a place to focus solo, have a casual work chat, or just enjoy a great cup of coffee or matcha, this spot checks all the boxes. Highly recommend

Amazing coffee and vibe at this place! Great to work at. We tried the iced vanilla latte and the iced mocha latte. The mocha was really good with the dark richness of coffee. It's such an unassuming small place hidden away in a street beside the Galleria mall. Glad i discovered it.
