Dunkn’
9704 Westland Dr, Knoxville, TN
Crema's Take
“This Knoxville Dunkin' is a study in contrasts—while the staff genuinely shines with warmth and attentiveness when they're present, the location struggles with chronic understaffing and inventory issues that leave customers frustrated, particularly with their notoriously unreliable donut selection. If you're catching them on a good morning with adequate crew, you'll find quick, friendly service perfect for grab-and-go coffee and breakfast, but expect disappointment if you're counting on specific pastries or customized orders.”

A donut place that literally never has donuts. I went once at 10 AM and another time at 4:20 PM (Keep in mind they close at 8 PM) and both times I was told they were all out of donuts FOR THE DAY!! Honestly, not sure how they stay in business. If I was out of donuts 10 hours or even 4 hours before I closed, I’m pretty sure I would be making more…
Disappointed. Not only did they pass me the card reader out the window so I could tip on one donut but then the donut didn't even have boston cream in it. Feeling ripped off and annoyed. And did I mention I didn't even get a napkin in my bag? Crazy. This is not the first time it has happened.
This was the best Dunkin I have ever been to!! I was acknowledged the moment I walked in and they were so ready to help! I accidentally ordered at the wrong Dunkin and they made my drink for me anyway!! They were so nice!!
Choosing the stars is hard because the problem is not the staff. It us the LACK of staff!!! I only go there in the mornings. I do mobile orders to pick up in drive thru several times a week. Service was fine from the time this location first opened until about 6 weeks ago. Then, there started being only 2 employees there before 7:00 a.m. There are 2 schools nearby & many of those emplyees have time be at work by 7:15, parents often stop by before school or after drop off, and interstate is 1/2 mole away that is a main route to several major employees and it is a main route to the airport. I personally have waited more than 20 minutes fir a mobile order on more than one occasion. I have heard MANY similar stories and some worse. Also the sign on the front of the building has several letters that are mo longer working. This must be one of the newest stores in this area. Has corporate or the franchise owner already written them off?
I did not heed the warning of these reviews and I regretted it. Ordered 12 customized donuts on the app at 8 in the morning and got only 2 out of 12 of the ones I actually chose. There is no way they were actually out of all the other ones that early in the morning. Beware this place will change your order and there's nothing you can do about it.
