Crema's Take
“Radio Bean is Burlington's beloved hub for live music and creative coffee culture, where you're just as likely to discover an emerging local band as you are an expertly crafted specialty drink. The intimate, cozy venue doubles as a genuine gathering space with generous outdoor seating, making it equally welcoming whether you're settling in for a slow afternoon or catching a show with friends. Staff here go the extra mile to make every visit feel personal, from helping with private events to ensuring non-drinkers feel just as welcome at the bar.”

This is the coolest spot in town, and it was my first thought for a private party space. Ben helped me book the space and with all of the back-end logistics. The day of the party, the staff there helped me set up a table with drinks on it, and they connected my phone to the sound system, all while being super friendly and fun for my guests. I recommend this space for any rental needs! 11/10
One of the best places to see live music in Vermont, small & intimate, good sound and cozy vibes. Good drink selections and tasty cocktails.
The beat pulsed and vocal ambrosia flowed from the stage while my roommate and I unsuccessfully tried to bum cigarettes off of strangers. Emerging artists comingled with their soon to be avid fans as local secrets and folk knowledge was past back and forth. Eventually, the college crowd surged in, disrupting the holistic and grounded vibes of the front patio, and I, finding my bicycle, decided it was time to move on.
Big fan of the space. I don’t always get down with loud music but it’s still a good time. If you’re like me and enjoy a more laid back mood they have pretty generous outdoor seating where you can still clearly hear the music (they tend to keep the doors propped open) and enjoy the open air at the same time. If you pick the right spot you can see the stage too. Came here to see some friends play a few times but I’ve been visiting for like a decade, and the atmosphere has always been nice. When there’s no live performance the mood is much calmer and it is a cozy spot to get nestled into for some good snacks. When there’s a performance going on the vibe becomes a lot more lively, but it’s not like a club. More comfortable and friendly in my experience. The food I’ve had here has always been good, and the colors & decor are warm, soft and easy on the eyes. They light it up a bit for shows but even so, it’s much more calm than Nectars upstairs - which I’ve only been to a couple of times, but feels much more like nightclub vibes to me. Anyway, yeah, this is my go-to if I wanna spend a night out. Safe, friendly, people tend to be more tame here as far as I’ve seen. Lots of regulars who are welcoming. Would recommend. :)
This place was so much fun to see a small local band play at. They also offer tea and hot drinks at the bar for those who like to see a show but don’t drink. The venue was quaint. It’s also attached to the lamp store right next door which hosts awesome dancing in the evening hours!
