I had such a wonderful experience at this bakery! The moment I walked in, I was greeted by the warm smell of fresh coffee and pastries. Everything looked beautiful, and the staff were incredibly friendly and helpful. I tried a few items—their doughnuts were perfectly made, the cakes were moist and full of flavor, and the specialty pastries were truly memorable. You can tell they use high-quality ingredients and put real care into their baking. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, making it a great place to relax with a coffee or pick up treats for home. I will definitely be coming back. Highly recommended!
Our favorite bakery of all time. Every item makes us say: “how is this so good?!” Real butter, homemade everything. The coffee and matcha are also top notch. We order cakes for special occasions - always the freshest and highest quality. We love Erie, and we know everyone else will too! Women owned by the most amazing baker, supported by her whole family. It doesn’t get better than this.
I love Erie! There’s so much to love about this bakery from the staff to the pastries and the passion that goes behind the scene. I don’t live in the area so traveling to Erie is worth every trip! I’ve never missed a Thanksgiving without ordering their pies. I will always support this small business🤍 and you should too!
Erie is a coffee shop with limited seating (4 high top seats). Cute atmosphere though. The coffee & tea were fine. The Doughnuts and pastries were mediocre at best. They tasted stale at 10am. We ate 2 on the way home and had brought some back to a get together we had later for lunch that day. Everything is a overpriced for what it is. I don't mind spending money on quality. At our get together for lunch, people remarked that the baked goods are not as good as they used to be and that these tasted dried out and bland. Needless to say & sorry to say, We won't be going back.
This Family owned Charmer in Rutherford is a must experience if you love a coffee and pastry vibe! Seasonal items all the time, fresh made bakes until it sells out (and things DO sell Out) *pro tip: the bird catches the worm. There's always things to buy, but stock starts running low by 12ish! It gets busy but lines move relatively quick! Ambiance: Located right off Park Ave on Franklin Ave, is a little Coffeeshop and bakery with a beautiful rustic vibe, upon entering you see counter decorated with both savory and sweet pastries and baked goods! There's no indoor seating as it's quite cozy but they do have a few cute tables for outdoor seating and standing tables on the windows which is nice! There's a little area on the wall that's got some fun merch like tea, totes, and cute cups! Food: Variety is the spice of life and Erie brings us an array of both Savory and Sweet for every pallet! They take alot of global influence in their sweets, like bringing us Arabic bread, and using ingredients like ricotta in some of their pastries! There's a variety of seasonal items and some staples like their cinnamon rolls, scones and biscuits! Everything is prepped fresh while most of us are asleep and coffee brewed fresh for maximum flavor! Trust when I say this bakery isn't just full of cupcakes, there is an array of flavors for everyone with even sandwiches served on Wednesday, Friday and Saturdays! Overall Service: I've been here a few times already and each time whether busy or slow, the kindness and pride in service is the same! Everyone at the counter is so sweet and will always go one by one with telling you the pastries when you ask what everything is! Remember if you want a place to sit down, make sure the weather is nice to try and grab one of the tables for a coffee, pastry and chat because there's no room to sit inside. Inside is just for the baked goodness
