Always delish!! I look forward to my Sweet tooth with an extra shot! The blended Chai is good as well, so creamy!
I was really looking forward to trying Grinders Steep Coffee because it’s in a great location. Unfortunately, the inside of the shop was not clean at all. There were cobwebs in several places, dusty windows and walls, and the floors looked like they hadn’t been swept or moped in a while. What concerned me most was the visible dust on the coffee mugs and the dirty condition of the flavor syrup pumps. These are things that customers come into direct contact with, so cleanliness is really important. The concept of this place has a lot of potential, but it definitely needs a deep clean and regular upkeep to create a welcoming and sanitary environment. I hope the owners take the time to address this, because it could be a great spot with a little more attention to cleanliness
Eureka! Finally a good apple fritter! I had given up hope that they even exist anymore and that anyone remembered that they’re supposed to have apple bits and lots of cinnamon and not be oily, and not donuty, and soft and fresh inside with a crunchy sweet outside. Thank you Grinders! Plus excellent customer service and amazing oat milk mochas! Support great local business!! ❤️
I adore this coffee shop, which has made its home in an old gas station in the heart of a Middletown. Every time I stay in Middletown to visit Harbin, I start my day by walking to Grinders Steep and ordering an iced latte with whip and an extra shot with oat milk - perfection (also very reasonably priced). The vibe is always friendly and you can tell they have a great relationship with all the locals that frequent the shop, but you’re just as welcome as a traveler.
This place is amazing! I had a very delicious cafe mocha with oat milk. It is a hidden gem in Middletown.
