Crema's Take

Hermosa Cafe is an artsy neighborhood anchor where the coffee is genuinely excellent and the homemade pastries and quiches (especially their celebrated gluten-free options like the hashbrown crust quiche) are reason enough to make it a daily stop. The vibe is unhurried and creative—think laptops and lingering conversations—with a welcoming staff and a surprising depth of offerings that span specialty coffee drinks, beer, and a full breakfast menu that punches above typical cafe fare. Whether you're after a carefully crafted espresso drink or a generous slice of quiche Lorraine with your two-year-old in tow, this is the kind of place that becomes a favorite the moment you walk in.

Artistic and alternative vibes, great coffee, lots of drinks, beer, and let’s talk about the food! Beautiful fresh, homemade pastries, gluten-free quiche that uses hashbrowns for crust. Everything they make is next level.

Our favorite coffee spot whenever we are in Durango. Daily trip while we are here. Best selection of gluten free options that we have ever found. GF Scones and avocado toast the best. And the BEST COFFEE!!!!!

The food quantity I felt is small. The taste was good but the quantity is less. You get a single slice of bread with your choice . Tried green Avacoda - usual taste and sunrise with was different and unique. The staff was super friendly - only reason to go back again. Ambience is good. The plus point is it starts early in the morning. The coffee was regular compared to the competitor next door.

Delicious quiche! Staff is super nice and friendly! Great spot! Everything looked great. We got the Quiche Lorain and my 2 year old said yummy in my tummy with every bite. We got the massive cinnamon rolls to go. They only make 4 a day… and they are massive. We ate left overs the next day and they still tasted amazing

What a cool breakfast spot in Durango! Visited this place on a Monday morning and it seemed like everyone was working on their laptops. I got a mushroom quiche since everyone seemed to be raving about hem. And it was very very good. Even though I don’t love mushrooms. But…the croissant my daughter ordered was amazing. So good! My iced coffee was terrific too.
