Crema's Take

This cozy Grand Forks spot is a creative playground for coffee lovers who want to venture beyond the basics, with a devoted following praising their exceptional espresso work and inventive signature drinks like the Creme Brulee Frappe and Frozen Hot Chocolate. Beyond the cup, they're equally serious about their food—think perfectly executed avocado toast with everything seasoning and indulgent waffles—making it the kind of place where you'll linger over breakfast with friends and actually want to stay for a while. Fair warning: their popularity means service can move slowly, but the warm atmosphere and courteous staff make the wait feel less like a drawback and more like permission to actually relax.

The best iced latte I’ve ever had. The best avocado toast I’ve ever had (get the ‘everything seasoning’ type). Great service and atmosphere.

The White Cheddar Mac and Cheese, Creme Brulee Frappe, Frozen Hot Chocolate, Blue Raspberry Italian Soda, Peanut Butter Honey Waffles topped with Banana, and the Fighting Hawks Lotus Energy drink were all delicious!! I went back a second time for the Strawberries and Cream Lotus Energy and a Caramelized Apple Cider Chai. I will be visiting again in the future!!

I have always enjoyed Meg-A-Latte. Their coffee is exceptional. However, they have always been extremely slow with service, and I am finally at my breaking point. Today, over my break, I ordered two warm croissants to go. It took 15 minutes. There were only five people inside and one car in the drive-thru the entirety of the duration I was in there. So it was not in any way busy. I am frustrated because I did not notice the croissants were cold until I got back to the office. As someone who has held multiple customer service positions, efficiency is crucial, and I don't think they have the right idea yet. It goes a lot smoother when they have more workers inside, and for the most part, they have positive attitudes (except a few I will not name), but I will not be returning to this location. Extremely expensive for lunch meat and processed cheese slapped on a frozen croissant by the way- wild.

Great vibes, courteous staff, wonderful food. Harvest peach lotus energy, country style breakfast bowl, harvest latte, biscuits and gravy were all fresh and temperatures were awesome. Thanks to the morning staff who served us with a smile.
