Aruba Island Bowls Cafe

Crema's Take

This Pittsburgh café captures island vibes with remarkably fresh, thoughtfully made bowls and pastries—their homemade peanut butter spheres and açaí creations are standouts that keep regulars coming back. Beyond the stellar food, the warm, owner-run atmosphere and creative touches (like the upstairs fitness studio) make it feel less like a quick caffeine stop and more like a genuine escape, whether you're grabbing waffles with your little one or settling in with a smoothie bowl. It's the kind of neighborhood gem where everything from the guacamole to the cold brew tastes like it was made with real care.

We love this little gem! Our favorites are the waffles (for our little one), electric mango bowl, island bowl, and tacos. So far we haven’t found anything we haven’t liked! The atmosphere is an island vibe - a fun, beach theme. Great service and the food looks and tastes great. Everything is so fresh!

The staff which I believe was the owner, was absolutely amazing. Very kind. The atmosphere was aesthetically pleasing. The acai bowls, and smoothies were absolutely delicious and very pleasing to look at. Highly recommend trying this place! They also have more than just smoothies and bowls. 10 out of 10
