Crema's Take
“Anna's House is a charming diner-style spot that nails the cozy, vintage-inspired atmosphere with its 40s decor and excellent natural lighting—the kind of place where you actually want to linger. Beyond the reliable traditional coffee drinks, they're known for creative signature beverages like the Twilight Latte and a full breakfast menu that goes beyond the basics, including thoughtful options like gluten-free pancakes and inventive Benedicts. With genuinely attentive servers and a family-friendly vibe that keeps locals coming back, it's clear this is where Okemos gathers for a meal that feels special, not just quick.”

What a cute place!! The Twilight Latte was delicious!! I also go the corn beef Eggs Benedict which were delicious. Definitely a fun little diner style restaurant.
Carrie was our server and was on top of it the whole time. My food was transcendent I think I reached nirvana. The vibe is always good here, and I always look forward to coming back and trying something new!
Going into the restaurant, I immediately loved the decor! It feels cozy, and the employees were wonderful. I went on a Sunday at 11, which is peak brunch time, and I was seated within 20 minutes! With a party of six! Incredible speed, and the food was great, too. I got a Belgian waffle, which kept it simple but it was perfect. My server, Jenna, was also absolutely wonderful. A sweet person who made me feel MORE than welcome!! :-)
We had great service and a delicious meal! They have a lot of gluten free options! Now, I am aware the kitchen is not fully gluten free and it's still a risk. I've gotten the gluten free pancakes before and been fine, this time I opted for a gluten free waffle with eggs and bacon. I'm not sure what did it but I think there was some cross contamination as I got sick. But, again, stated on their menu this is a risk for folks with severe allergies! My husband loved the corned beef hash.
Awesome breakfast place with nice booths and lots of lighting and cute decor on the wall reminding one of the 40s. I had the Cooks Sandwhich and it was just the right size. For a side, I had some amazing sweet potato fries. My only dislike was how cold it was inside (though at time of writing this it was between fall and winter) and as part of a group they forgot some things but I was pleased with the service as they didnt make any excuses and were prompt in service. Will definitely be back again.
