Crema's Take
“This Philadelphia institution excels at creative, flavor-forward drinks like their Caramel Banana Brûlée Latte and aromatic Oat Draft Latte, backed by serious espresso and pour-over technique that keeps customers coming back for seconds. The space itself is a genuine gathering hub near Rittenhouse Square—bustling with a joyful energy where people comfortably linger with laptops or friends, and baristas genuinely seem to enjoy suggesting their next cup. It's the kind of place that feels both polished and welcoming, where the coffee is thoughtfully crafted but the vibe remains unpretentious and warm.”

I tried the **Caramel Banana Brûlée Latte** and it was absolutely delicious! The banana flavor was subtle but perfectly blended with the caramel, and the brûlée topping added a nice rich sweetness. The drink was smooth, well-balanced, and not overly sweet. It’s such a unique flavor combination and definitely worth trying if you like specialty lattes.
I went for an Oat Draft Latte—aromatic and rich, totally makes you want a second cup ☕✨ The café vibe is fantastic, with plenty of people working or studying, making it the perfect cozy spot 📚💻
A good location close to my hotel, with decent coffee. Had seen pictures with Italian inspired ceramic mugs, which I longed to be served on, but unfortunately they are no longer being used. But the ceramic table tops added that Tuscan touch which I was looking for. Went a little after opening time, and the staff was busier catching up with their own weekend stories than with paying attention to customers’ requests. Like the self service water station which offered both sparkling and still water, with nice looking glasses. Pastries looked a little tired and the apple cinnamon scone was heavy on sugar.
I'm finally rating this spot, an all time fave. Always happening, very friendly and joyful really. The flavors are as fab as the aroma. The baristas & all staff are super nice, offer great suggestions when asked, and make my favorite macchiato. This morning was the only time I've been that's not packed, with a little wait time.
What a great find. A gorgeous ' old fashioned' coffee shop with internal tables and chairs, just a short walk form the pretty Rittenhouse Square. It was busy during the yime of my visit, with a short queue, which moved relatively quickly. Service was friendly and effiecient. I had a regular latte which was good quality coffee and was served hot. Just as a like it. Cakes and pastries were available but in managed to resist. Prices were very good for the US. All in all much better quality and value than the branded coffee chains. I'd definitely recommend and return. Thank you.
