Crema's Take

This charming French bakery on Pine delivers genuinely excellent pastries—think buttery, flaky croissants and almond varieties that keep customers coming back for more—paired with quality Equator coffee in a warm, inviting space that's equally suited for a quick grab or lingering conversation. The homemade, authentic feel extends to their light breakfast and pear tarts, though consistency with freshness can occasionally slip. It's the kind of neighborhood spot where you'll find locals and visitors alike settling in with their laptop or meeting a friend, all while the aroma of genuine French baking fills the room.

I ordered a plain croissant and a pear tart to go. The tart gets a 5. It was really good! The croissant saw better days. It was just dry and very stale. Probably 4-5 days old. Why would you sell that is beyond me. Maybe it was because I took it to go. Well, I certainly won't be back... :(

The coffee and the pastry are 9/10 I got a ham and swiss croissant that was so good i purchased more pastries afterwards I got an almond croissant latte as-well the beans are equator. I wish they had a bit more seating but all the seating is very comfortable and spacious tables. I am really surprised they dont have a higher review

Love going to La Boulangerie when in SF 🫶🏽🥐 BUT, what is up with the two women that were working during my visit? The younger one with glasses had a "meh" look on her face and the older one had a serious case of RBF. Neither even attempted to crack a smile. I think they are both confused: this is La Boulangerie in San Francisco, not Goyard in Paris 💅🏾

Lovely French bakery with fresh, perfectly flaky pastries and great coffee. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, with friendly staff and plenty of charm. Everything tastes homemade and authentic — especially the croissants and quiche. A perfect place for a relaxed breakfast or afternoon treat in San Francisco.

I’ve been wanting to try @laboulangeriesf for so long! They had a couple locations in the city, and I was lucky to swing by their 1st location in SF! The ladies inside were so nice and friendly ☺️ Almost reminds me of a neighbor that baked some fresh pastries and sharing it with you in the morning! I can’t help myself to get the raspberry croissant 🥐. It’s so cute and also delicious! Not overly sweet and full of raspberry aroma. The outside sugar crust was also a good addition to the texture! Their regular croissant is also good! Very buttery with clear layers. Can’t wait to come again for other pastries 🥰
