Crema's Take

Caddy Shack Coffee Stop isn't just about the coffee—it's your pit stop at the legendary Cadillac Ranch, where you can grab a quick traditional brew before heading out to spray paint vintage cars half-buried in the Texas dirt. With an enormous Instagram-worthy atmosphere and family-friendly vibe right off Route 66, this roadside gem delivers both genuine hospitality and the kind of quirky Americana moment that makes cross-country trips unforgettable. Fair warning: the paint-splattered landscape and creative chaos are the real draw here, so come for the photo ops and the community energy as much as you come for your coffee.

Silly road side attraction. If you are along 49/66 it’s worth a 10 minute pit stop for fun photos. We stopped here on a cross country trip and it made for good photos.

A must do when passing through! We bought a fresh can of spray paint and there were a few left around with some paint in it still. The RV lot and shop right up the road sells spray paint as well. When in Rome! Or in this case, when in Amarillo!

Arrived right at sunset on a thursday. Made for some pretty awesome pictures. Such a cool place to see in person. The layers of paint is absolutely insane-- but I love all the creativity. Such a fun stop.

It was so fun. I have seen this on tictok so I wanted to see for my self. It was definitely stop by on your way threw. Don't forget to get your spray paint can before going. And I didn't know but if you can hang a lock on there fence if you wanted too.

Wacky place for a quick stop and stretch of the legs. Pull over on the frontage road which is also painted and take a 100 yard walk out into the field to see the cars up close. Otherwise there not really appreciated from a distance. There are layers and layers of paint which in some places the paint is up to 10-12 inches thick. Bring a can of paint if you feel the urge.
