Crema's Take

World Ground Cafe pulls off the difficult trick of being both a serious espresso destination and a genuinely comfortable spot to linger for hours, with well-executed traditional drinks and a quieter back area that feels designed for actual work or conversation. The pastries and breakfast items are inconsistent—some regulars rave about the Swedish saffron almond bun and paninis while others have hit disappointing sandwiches—so go for the coffee and the vibe rather than counting on the food to impress. It's a smart choice if you want quality espresso in a spacious, thoughtfully designed cafe that won't rush you out, just don't expect kitchen perfection.

Arrived early to my appointment. I decided to grab a cup of coffee and a breakfast sandwich. My coffee was colored watered. My sandwich lacked basic flavor. Sadly, I don't see myself returning.

That swedish swedish saffron almond bun was amazing. The people that work there were super nice.

Really well flavored espresso! They have a good variety of breakfast and lunch options. Food was quick and hot. Recommend the breakfast panini. Reasonably priced.

Beautiful space with drinks, coffee, food and so much more. Private quieter spaces in the back, wifi provided, perfect for working, meeting with people or a casual date. Space is also politically sound and on point. Highly recommend. And breakfast, too!

I was in and out with only an Americano, but at about 8:30am on a Wednesday morning, this cafe was a nice spot for a quick stop, and there looked to be a fair selection of light bites (sandwiches, etc.) if you are feeling peckish. The coffee was decent, and the service friendly.
