Crema's Take

The Labyrinth draws you in with its moody, deliberately mysterious atmosphere—dim lighting and quirky décor that make you feel like you've discovered something off the beaten path in Metairie. It's become a beloved student hangout and study spot thanks to genuinely affordable prices, a welcoming vibe for all dietary needs, and a steady stream of evening events that give the space real community energy beyond just coffee. Whether you're settling in for hours with your laptop or grabbing a quick chai latte and sandwich between classes, this place has mastered the balance between quick-service convenience and slow, lingering comfort.

The Labyrinth felt intriguing from the moment I walked in. The space had a moody, slightly mysterious vibe — dim lighting, unique décor, and an atmosphere that made the experience feel a little different from the usual New Orleans spots. I stopped in for drinks, and the cocktails were creative and well-balanced. You could tell there was some thought behind the flavor combinations, which made it more than just a typical bar stop. The energy was lively but not overwhelming, making it easy to relax and enjoy the setting. Overall, The Labyrinth offers a cool, distinctive experience — a great place to unwind if you’re looking for something with personality and a bit of edge.

i really like labyrinth! it's a super nice place for studying. i got a dirty iced chai latte. it was pretty good, a bit on the milky side. the best thing is the cheap prices! they definitely know their audience lol (i.e. students).

This is my favorite place to get a quick, cheap sandwich or coffee while I’m on campus at Tulane!! Amazing prices, great service, and lots of inclusive options for all dietary restrictions. My favorites are the veggie wrap and the turkey cranberry sandwich (special for Thanksgiving season). They also have free community lunch every Wednesday, which is always delicious and so much fun. The Labyrinth is also an amazing place for anyone looking for an inclusive religious community to be part of.

This place is awesome! It's a great place for students to study, hang out, or do something during the evenings that doesn't involve drinking and partying. There are lots of fun events going on every day of the week, including yoga, dance parties, board game nights, and open mic nights! The baristas are really friendly and all of the food and drink items are pay-what-you-can (and really delicious)! Definitely a must visit!
