259 Brantley's Bistro

We sat outside on a Friday evening for a lateish dinner. It was nice to be able to hear the live music. The service was top-notch but the food was just ok. I had a salad on the daily specials. It was beautifully presented but I was shocked to find that the "roasted beets" were from a can. Also, did not love either of the 2 salad dressings I tried. My husband really enjoyed his burger and the fries I snagged from him were awesome.

Got the lamb sliders, and they did have a tad bit too much of the aiolo, making the buns slightly soggy. Had a lemonade drink, it was fabulous. Waiter was good as we did come at the end of the day. Was great to see the owner, Bonnie. Love going there for the locally sourced food items on the menu. Don't get a chance to get there often and always a treat when I'm on a friend's day out!

Tucked away in the heart of Beorne, 259 Brantley's Bistro & Bar is the kind of place you hope to find when you’re looking for a genuine good time. From the moment you walk in, the atmosphere strikes a perfect balance between a relaxed neighborhood bar and a vibrant spot for a night out. The drinks here are truly terrific. The bar staff clearly knows their craft, whether they’re mixing a margarita or serving up a perfectly made pecan old fashioned. The menu offers a solid and satisfying selection, with something to please every palate. We found ourselves trying a few different cocktails throughout the evening and each one was expertly made and refreshing. What really makes the experience stand out, however, is the service. The entire team, from the hosts to the servers, is exceptionally friendly and attentive. They manage to be efficient and prompt without ever making you feel rushed, creating a welcoming environment that makes you want to settle in and stay a while. And staying a while is highly recommended, especially when the live bands take the stage. The entertainment schedule is a major draw, and for good reason. The bands we heard were very entertaining, offering a great mix of covers and original tunes that had the whole room energized. The sound level is well-managed, allowing for conversation at your table while still letting you enjoy the music. 259 Brantley's is the full package: great drinks, wonderful service, and fantastic live music. It’s an excellent choice for a casual dinner, a night out with friends, or a weekend date. This is a standout establishment in Beorne and has easily become a new favorite.

Food is always good but wow the online prices do not match what you are going to be charged. Ordered a house salad with grilled chicken which on their website is listed as $6.95 plus $6.25 for the chicken breast added. At the store picking up it came to $8.95 for the salad and $7.95 for the chicken breast which is significantly more. A huge pet peeve of mine is to make sure that your website prices are kept updated. I would believe that it is good practice as the owner to ensure that these match

Everything we tried was very fresh and delicious. The farmers board was perfectly paired with fruits, cheeses, and dried sausage. Most of the ingredients are locally sourced. It's a tucked away gem of Boerne and has better food than some of the more popular places. Definitely a must eat !
