Crema's Take
“Brioche's flaky, buttery pastries and perfectly executed breakfast dishes—especially the quiche and California omelet—are genuinely worth seeking out in Chinatown, with a relaxed vibe that rewards lingering over coffee. The white mocha here strikes a rare balance between creamy and restrained, and the staff keeps the pace deliberately slow, making this feel more like a proper morning destination than a grab-and-go spot. Just know the execution can be inconsistent (some hit perfectly golden, others miss on the details), but when they're on, this place delivers real quality.”
What to expect
Specialty coffee. A slow-sit, outdoor seating spot, good for meetings. Full breakfast, pastries, and light food on the menu. Family friendly. Parking available.

Found this place on my strolls through San Francisco’s Chinatown and wandered off the beaten path a little. I was happy I did. Staff were very friendly and the food was excellent. I had a croque Monsieur which was very good and a matcha latte. I normally don’t have desert but…
Had breakfast at Brioche Bakery & Cafe and it was excellent. I ordered the California omelet and it was absolutely amazing fresh, fluffy, and full of flavor. The potatoes were perfectly seasoned and everything tasted homemade. Great spot, highly recommend
Went there twice. First time I tried the breakfast croissant which was a bit too greasy and the potatoes could have been a lot crispier/cooked better (they had no browning on them and were dripping with oil). Second time tried the breakfast burrito which was amazing - the eggs…
Cafe Brioche was a pleasant surprise. Friendly staff, calm atmosphere, and everything tasted fresh. The white mocha was especially good - creamy and balanced without being overly sweet. A solid place to sit back and enjoy a good coffee.
