Crema's Take

Blvd Cafecito feels like the kind of neighborhood spot where the staff actually knows your name, with baristas like Amber and Alex bringing genuine warmth to every order and owner James making the rounds to chat. Their cold brew is genuinely exceptional, and while the breakfast burritos are legendary enough to become a reason to visit LA, it's really the community vibe—live music, early weekend hours, and that palpable sense of belonging—that keeps people coming back as their regular LA home base.

Ok so you gotta come here! Iced cold brew was amazing. Don’t get me started on the staff. Amber and Alex are super fun and James the owner was a delight to talk too. Would do 6 starts if I could

The service here is incredible. It's my new favorite place because the staff is so nice and helpful! This really feels like a community spot. It also helps that the food is tasty and the drinks are unique and excellent! On this trip, I got the maple walnut scone and a Mexican mocha. I loved both. But I also recommend trying their veggie burrito. Lots of vegetarian breakfast options! There's not much space inside but some lovely tables for people watching out front!

The coffee and the staff were fabulous, but the breakfast was definitely secondary. I ordered the Huevos Perico bowl and while the description sounded delicious, the eggs were completely overcooked and it literally had no flavor. I was very disappointed for a $13 breakfast bowl. My daughter ordered the La Columbiana bowl and again, the description sounded amazing but again, same response, no flavor.

It was a Saturday morning around 7 AM and to my surprise this was one of the few coffee shops that was actually open. When I walked in the staff was very friendly there was music that filled the room and I asked for recommendations and they recommended the cafe con Leche. I found to be very good, so much so that I came back over a week or two later for another one on my second attempt, I tried their breakfast food. I got the croissant, bacon, egg and cheese sandwich, and it was banging. I definitely recommend this place to others. Please do enjoy!
