Crema's Take

Billings Park Eatery is a warm, unhurried breakfast destination in Duluth where the service genuinely shines—staff take time to chat with guests and share local recommendations, making it feel like a genuine community gathering spot rather than just a transaction. Their eggs Benedict and creative takes on classic breakfast items like corned beef hash draw repeat visitors, though consistency in execution and pricing accuracy could use some attention to match the exceptional hospitality they're known for.

I have eaten there twice and both times, the menu has a different price then what your bill states. Both times, and they were 6 months apart, the server said they had a computer update and hadn't printed new menus yet. The food is good but what they are doing, I will never eat there again. Please watch your bills!

My wife and I enjoyed our early breakfast meals twice in the last few months. The eggs Benedict was not a disappointment, and I personally enjoyed the corned beef hash being made with some of the same ingredients I grew up eating when I lived in the area. For our second visit, my wife ordered the crepes and I ordered French toast and bacon to share with our kiddo. The French toast, while not fancy, was perfectly cooked and tasted like nostalgia sprinkled with cinnamon and sugar. But the crepes, oh cripes, the crepes. My spouse orders crepes often for breakfast and she said they were the best she’d ever had. I actually don’t like crepes at all and thought they were amazing. Every bite was perfectly balanced and also sweet but not overwhelmingly so. The service both times was fantastic. The staff were friendly, the chef knew what they were doing, and we got our food quickly. Mind you, we did take out the first time and dined in for the second, and we got seated quickly and had our food in minutes. Would highly recommend this place! The prices were very reasonable and the atmosphere and menu are just what we were looking for.

The food was delicious. The service was the best I have had in a long time and I eat out almost every week. The place was clean. The waitress was very attentive to one in the caffe. Food was nicely priced. I plan on returning.

The strawberry jelly was delicious! The omelette had a good amount of cheese and bacon. The rest of the meal did not have much flavor sadly. The hashbrowns were lacking seasoning such as salt. The chicken was very bland and significantly lacked seasoning. The hot chocolate was made with water and not enough Cool Whip. You can tell it was very watered down. Went to the restaurant because some of the pictures showed that they had some of the best clam chowder soup. However, they did not have soup available. Overall, I would go one more time to try it again. However, I would not recommend it to anybody. The staff member was friendly. But it did take quite a bit to get waited on and the food did take a while.
