The food is amazing here. The Buffalo Chicken Wrap is the best I have ever had by far. Service isn't bad, but they are just very busy at times and it can take a while to get something like ketchup or other simple request. The seating area is very small since this place is attached to a rock climbing facility. I wish they were open more than just Fridays becasue I would love to bring my family over here to eat. I only go here on my lunch breaks as of now.
I almost walked out because it looks like a concession stand for the rock climbing business. Oh, was I wrong, I had the original burger and it was amazing. Everything down to the sauce was perfect. I’ll be back.
My wife and I were in the area today looking for something to eat and decided to try this restaurant. Unfortunately, our experience was very disappointing. We both ordered, and my food came out first — but it was incorrect. They took it back and brought the right dish about six minutes before my wife’s food arrived. Her meal was perfect with no complaints. However, my sweet potato fries were badly burnt. I tried to pick through them to find pieces that weren’t overcooked, but one fry was so hard on the end that when I bit into it, it actually broke my tooth. I had to go to the restroom to try to compose myself because of the pain. When the staff finally came over and asked what happened, I explained the situation. The only response I received was a quick apology, and they threw my food away “to help me.” There was no real effort to make the situation right. Overall, this was a very poor experience, and I’m currently sitting at the dentist having my tooth repaired because of it. I would not recommend based on how this was handled.
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Taking Gym Food to New Heights I’ve been a regular at 5.ATE Café for over two years, and the Climb & Dine event tonight finally pushed me to write this review. My son, our friends, and I tried everything on the menu — and it was all fantastic. The pizza is always a standout, but the special pumpkin and burrata pizza they made for the event was truly unforgettable. Every dish was thoughtful and delicious, from the sliders to the PBJ taco, all served by a team that is always skilled, friendly, and clearly passionate about their craft. 5.ATE Café may be tucked inside a climbing gym, but the food is on a whole different level. Scratch-made sauces, homemade sourdough English muffin buns, and a consistently creative kitchen make this place a real treasure north of Houston. If you’re climbing at inSPIRE or in the area, do yourself a favor and eat here. But honestly, even if you're far away or afraid of heights, it's worth the time and the drive!
Really surprised by this place. A whole in the wall place at the rock climbing place. The hamburger was delightful. They had a keto option for my lunch partner. This is a great place that people should definitely try.
