Crema's Take

Tucked into Mountain Village with a charming bodega vibe, this spot punches above its weight with homemade-tasting breakfasts and consistently excellent espresso drinks that keep locals and visitors coming back repeatedly. Whether you're ordering a perfectly executed latte, a loaded burrito, or their standout pancakes, the kitchen clearly takes pride in the details—and the friendly service makes it feel like a genuine gathering place rather than just another mountain town coffee stop.

Their burritos were awesome. Tried chai and latte. Both were amazing. Good spot for a morning coffee if you are in the mountain village.

By far our favorite breakfast spot in town. We spent a week in telluride and visited this location multiple times during our stay. Food tasted home made, all of our coffee orders were spot on. Especially during the cold the coffee just hit the spot. Place is SUPER busy and it’s small. People need to be PATIENT. While I visited I did notice some people give an attitude towards the employees. The employees are working as fast and as hard as they can they don’t need entitled customers whining about not getting some butter on their pancakes, just ask for some! We had a great time visiting this location and the employees were super helpful and friendly and very accommodating to the food requests we asked for (like extra toasted bagels and cooking our eggs the way we liked them). I would definitely recommend visiting this place for some good food! Especially given the area, most places the food is pricey and BAD but thankfully this place the food was worth the costs. I feel like a lot of the restaurants in the area take advantage of the fact that most people are traveling and they can up charge and not really care about the quality but you can tell this place does care about their food and the way they take care of their customers. This is also a big reminder of the hard work all the employees in this area have to go through to just feed people who are mad because their coffee “was too sweet” how about you add some milk to it or some water instead of complaining about everything. You have teens waking up at 5am just so you can ride the gondola from 6am - 12am just so you can get mad that it’s too cold smh. 10/10 would recommend.

I know everyone has different taste, but...our breakfast was so good, that we will come back whenever we are in town again. Friendly service, fresh food, great atmosphere! What else can you ask for? I highly recommend this place!

Great tuna melt. One nit pick is that I bought chips separately then saw that my sandwich came with chips, so I ended up throwing the extra chips away. I also had pancakes here for breakfast and they were great.

Telluride Coffee Co. is definitely an underrated place, at least for breakfast, which we've had here many times. Located in the heart of Mountain Village, it has a bodega type feel. The lines can be long to order in the morning, but the food is great. We love the breakfast sandwiches!
