This is a pretty cool coffee shop with many options to stay warm during the winter months(our visit). We had a delicious coffee and hot chocolate. The place looks pretty nice all around, and the booths for silence are a very interesting concept.

We were stuck waiting for AAA and this shop gave us a warm and welcoming place to stay out of the cold. The coffee was excellent, the Barnstable was kind, and the merchandise was eclectic.

Fun, multi-use cafe, and a shop that sells entertaining food products, gifts, homewares, books, accessories and more. There's also an art gallery that had an interesting photography exhibit of abandoned places. We had a nice iced hibiscus tea and a iced coffee.

Cute little coffee shop with tourist trap merchandise and goods (hence the name). Not a bad spot, decent coffee, fun to stop in and peruse. Yes the prices are a little high, but that’s implied by the name. A fun stop.

“CITIOT: Where Matcha Meets Matisse and Coffee Comes with a Side of Charm” Let me be clear: CITIOT is not just a café—it’s a full-blown Catskill cultural experience wrapped in a cup of matcha and tied with a bow of artistic flair. From the moment I walked in, I felt like I had stepped into the cozy living room of the world’s most stylish (and well-read) artist friend. I was warmly greeted like a long-lost creative cousin. The vibe? Think Warhol meets Wes Anderson in the Hudson Valley. There’s a rustic farm table where people are sketching, journaling, plotting novels—probably creating the next great American art movement right there over their croissants. And speaking of those croissants: buttery, flaky, tender pastry clouds sent directly from a Parisian dream. I got emotional. Not ashamed. Now, let’s talk about my iced matcha. It was earthy, refreshing, and smoothed out my soul in all the right ways. Then—out of nowhere—the barista hands me a COFFEE CANDY. A single, humble-looking hard candy that delivered a creamy, bold, espresso-kissed Italian daydream straight to my tastebuds. I’m now plotting how to smuggle two pounds of these heavenly nuggets back home without judgment. The barista? An absolute gem. Warm, funny, detail-oriented, and somehow managed to make each guest feel like the main character. If they had a fan club, I’d sign up yesterday. Oh—and let’s not forget the shop itself: part boutique, part gallery, part gourmet pantry. You’ll find gorgeous books, local artisan goods, quirky art, nostalgic toys, an antique wooden bicycle, and things you never knew you needed (until you’re holding them at checkout with zero regrets). CITIOT is a must-visit hidden gem that’s worth the detour off the Thruway. It’s the kind of place that refills your spirit while refueling your caffeine levels. Whether you come for the croissants, stay for the espresso candy, or simply need a moment of Zen-meets-design-meets-cozy—we’ll probably run into each other here again soon. Now if you’ll excuse me, I have a candy addiction to feed. “Food that feeds the soul, beauty that speaks volumes, and travel that tells a story always through the eyes of Italy Loves India.” — Alyson Savino #CitiotCatskill #MatchaMood #EspressoCandyCrush #HiddenGemAlert IG @Alysonnyc212
