Crema's Take
“Tucked into the back of a gas station, Taza Grill serves some of Atlanta's most authentic and affordable Mediterranean food, prepared with genuine care by a family-run operation that clearly knows their craft. Their fresh Levantine-style dishes—from perfectly spiced taboula and creamy hummus to lamb shanks and vibrant salads—keep locals coming back despite the unlikely location. It's the kind of hidden gem where quality ingredients and real passion for food shine through every bite, making it absolutely worth seeking out.”

The best Mediterranean food in Atlanta... and it's in a gas station! Seriously, excellent, high quality food prepared by a lady who knows her stuff. Well worth it and very affordable. Take out only
If its in the back of a gas station, you know it's gonna be good. Amazing Levant style food, family owned and run. Fresh and fast. The salads are numerous and all delicious. They have the best taboula ever. Get their fries, you will not be disappointed.
I try to visit Taza any time I'm in the area. I've had pitas, lamb shanks, spicy chicken and rice bowls, salads, at least 4 different kinds of pasta salad, hummus, and probably more that I cannot remember. I don't think I've ever been disappointed. Be prepared to wait 10 or 15 minutes and take your order to go. They are located inside the convenience store and there is no seating.
I was working on the tracks near by, and decided to hunt down some chow while waiting on some of the train traffic to clear up. I woke up that morning with hummus on my mind. And not the red lid plastic tub grocery store version of hummus either. I wanted the real deal. Yall, I felt like providence brought me to that gas station to fill up. I stepped inside just thinking of a small snack as surely there would be no mana found within its walls. How delightfully wrong I was when I walked to the counter and some body's Yaya smiled and said I looked hungry. The menu was extensive. The damn cooler had close to a dozen salads to choose from,I almost got the tabbouleh as it was parsley heavy, but I went with the pasta salad which was banging, and the gyro I ordered took me from hungry to "roll me over in the ditch im done" I was so damn full. The hummus yall! It was creamy with NO grit! It was perfect and came with a fresh grilled pita?! I feasted with great joy and utter abandon, yall. Give this spot a try as my coworker got one of the $11 lunch specials, and it looked great and that Togo plate groaned. 10/10 WILL go there again.
The food was very delicious. We had the French fries, falafel rice bowl, and chicken rice bowl. The entire staff (a mom, dad, and son) were extremely nice. Ingredients were fresh and tasted great. My only critique is for the food to be warmer and the rice to be seasoned slightly more.
