European market,deli&café

A really fabulous market that has a wide variety of interesting food. The café is also a lovely place to have coffee and a treat or a sandwich. The people who own and work there are so helpful and kind. I just think it’s a wonderful place!

We went primarily to the deli for a sandwich on the road and it was well worth it. The deli is part of a supermarket both selling eastern European/balkan wares. The deli itself offers pies, cakes and sandwiches. The sandwich is made with home made bread and packs a punch with both size and flavour. The spinach burek is also a nice snack to try!

So I absolutely love the sandwiches at this place. Huge, well priced w fresh ingredients. Literally obsessed w the breaded chicken one. Went in with my dad for lunch and when I tried to tell the guy behind the counter how much I enjoyed it, he snapped at me telling me I was being rude and bothering him while he was trying to work. I was just trying to get his attention to say how much I enjoyed the place and he got very upset because I called him dude at one pt. I was trying to be genuine and sincere. I have been in customer service for 15 yrs and I have had some absolutely rude people say some ridiculous things and never once did I respond with the anger and attitude this gentleman did. I just have to make sure the owner knows that one of yr employees made need an attitude adjustment. Made me not want to come in person to be honest.

Wonderful, authentic market for European specialty foods and staples. Plus an on-site bakery and café serving eastern European pastries and savory dishes. Serving and staff are charming, and attentive. A perfect spot for a quick breakfast or lunch. We'll be back soon!

My latest purchase was Phyllo Dough, and I was impressed by its freshness and ease of separation, attributed to refrigeration instead of freezing. Spanakopita / Spinach and Feta Cheese bake.
