Crema's Take
“This West Springfield gem serves up authentic Mexican coffee like café de olla alongside creative specialty drinks and satisfying homemade sandwiches in a genuinely welcoming atmosphere that makes you want to linger over breakfast or lunch. The friendly staff and thoughtfully prepared food—from fresh chipotle southwest salads to full breakfast options—come at prices that feel almost too good to be true, making it the kind of neighborhood spot that becomes a quick favorite and a natural escape from the usual chain-restaurant routine. Whether you're catching up with friends or stealing a break from work, the slow sit vibe and clean, flavorful approach to everything they make creates the perfect reason to walk in and stay awhile.”

Wonderful sandwiches, drinks, great atmosphere and a nice place to grab breakfast or lunch!
Was working on a construction site nearby and when we broke for lunch I wanted to break away from the usual drive through fast food. So did a little walk yesterday while it was snowing and found this place. Started talking outside their cafe with one of the owners (if I’m wrong sorry I thought you were based on how happy you were) who invited me in to try their food. I had told him I was looking for a place for lunch. Told him I was on lunch break asked nicely if this was like a sit down for a while place or somewhat quick. Not rushed not fast food but ya know I could get something within the 30 minute break I had. With a smile said no problem at all, got the steak street tacos. Him and his wife made some AMAZING food. It was done actually very quickly and without compromise it tasted and looked amazing. Let me try something they were experimenting with making and gave a little sample and some of the coffee. I forgot the name of the coffee but it was a type of Mexican coffee and a special way they actually brew it. If you go ASK FOR THE MEXICAN COFFEE THEY MAKE IN THE THE POTTERY KETTLE! I’m not a coffee person, and I’ve never enjoyed black coffee. This was amazing. I will be going here for lunch from now on when I’m in the area, and will definitely be going on a coffee date here just for that coffee and to try their breakfast. D & A you have an amazing new cafe here and I was very happy to hear you just opened it together. It’s a beautiful location, beautiful cafe, amazing food, and the two of you give it life that’s rare to see anywhere anymore. Thank you for being so nice and seeing the enjoyment you both got from tasting the food made my day. You now got a regular ❤️
Welcoming and friendly staff and The food is delicious, authentic Mexican food. I had the Cafe de Olla - A type of Mexican pot, coffee, where cloves, cinnamon and Anise and pure Cane sugar are brewed in water and then the coffee is added. It tastes delicious! Completely unique and well worth a trip! They also serve Mexican street corn topped with Parmesan and Tajin As well as a delicious bean sausage and bacon soup, which is seasoned to perfection! A+++++
Found this place recently and it’s easily my new favorite lunch spot. The Chicken Chipotle Southwest Salad was fresh and flavorful, and you can’t beat the prices—most items are in the $1–10 range. The service was top-notch and the whole vibe is very relaxed. Highly recommend the Hot Vanilla if you want something cozy!
Great food. Great service. Clean and flavorful. Definetly comming back.
