Crema's Take

Uptown Hearth nails that rare balance of serious coffee craft and genuine mountain hospitality, with their own roasted beans tasting so clean and bright that the flavors really do sing through. Beyond the espresso and pour-overs, this gem has earned its reputation for hearty, ingredient-forward breakfasts (those burritos are legendary) and a peaceful, welcoming vibe that feels authentically local without trying too hard. Whether you're settling in for a slow sit on the outdoor patio or grabbing a pastry to go, you'll understand why people return again and again.

We were just blown away by this place. Simplicity and health and very simple atmosphere. Highly recommend. The flavors shine through, esp their own roasted coffee.

Uptown Hearth is a quaint coffee shop I stumbled upon and want to share my trip there. The customer service was great and immediately gives you a “local” mountain feel. (which I liked) The menu is limited but enough to give you a variety. I was not super hungry when I arrived so I only ordered a coffee & lemon blueberry cake. (my only negative was the area designated for cream & sugar was never replenished) The blueberry/lemon pastry was phenomenal!! They also provide a side area to enjoy your coffee/food, both inside & out which posed to be cozy. I’m sending out a recommendation to stop by and check them out, I think you’ll enjoy it. ☕️

Coffee was great and the breakfast burrito was absolutely massive and filled with fresh ingredients. The atmosphere was very clean and the ambience was peaceful! Great vibe from the staff and it’s non stop busy so they are clearly doing amazing. Will definitely be back!

We ate here two mornings in a row on our recent trip to Glacier National Park. It is some of the best breakfast food I have ever eaten. We had the burrito, the Shifty and the basic breakfast. The Shifty was like a flavor explosion! I’ve never eaten anything like it … I loved it so much! The lemon miso potatoes were also incredibly delicious. We tried a few of the pastries. The ham and cheese croissant was amazing, especially after a long hike in the rain. The cheesecake was so good and the berry sauce that came with it was so flavorful. The coffee was outstanding as well. The staff was so friendly even though they were slammed with business and the vibe and decor were immaculate. If I was a local I think I’d be eating there several times a week. I will carry this food memory with me forever.

Our first meal in Montana and we were pleasantly surprised. This place is a gem and very popular (for a good reason). Loved their vibe and great outdoor seating. We got their pineapple bowl and the beef and blue sandwich. The sandwich was off-the-charts! Absolutely fantastic! The rice bowl was good and felt fresh, however we did find the pulled pork to taste a bit “funky”. Probably will get the tofu option next time. The coffee was also delicious.
