Crema's Take

Hidden behind the "Bella Ciao" storefront, 718 Cafecito is a cozy Greensboro gem where crepes steal the show—think oversized Nutella and strawberry creations that actually deliver on indulgence—paired with surprisingly nuanced coffees that bring honey notes to their lattes. The owner clearly cares about regulars and getting things right, creating that rare relaxed atmosphere where you can linger over pastries and specialty drinks without feeling rushed, making it feel less like a transaction and more like visiting a friend's kitchen.

I am not sure why the misleading name of this restaurant, as outside the signage says "Bella Ciao". I found this place while looking for a breakfast place to eat. I had a delicious Nutella and banana crepe and coffee. The atmosphere could use some improvement as I found it dark and a bit depressing, and there was no music, so it was very quiet. The staff were nice though and overall a good experience.

I got the Nutella, strawberry and banana crepe! It was absolutely delicious! It was huge and left stuffed! Got a vanilla latte with oat milk! The coffee has a honey flavor! Definitely recommend!

I used to love this place! But everytime I've gone here lately, the drinks have been bitter like they are burned. And they've gradually gone up and up in price until it's simply not worth it to go. They do not have the option of a cup or plate that's not disposable as well. The crepes, though, are delicious and I love them. The atmosphere is also great. Very quiet and calm with great art and furniture.

Amazing little gem that we recently discovered and will be frequenting very often! Great prices, great flavors, relaxed environment, above and beyond service.. a rare find and definitely worth every penny! Highly recommend any of the crepes, but especially with the fresh fruit! Whipped cream served on the side so you don’t have a soggy crepe is also genius. Thanks for your dedication to being great!

Edit: My original review was 5 stars, because i was happy, but i had a couple of criticisms too. I went back to get another crepe recently and the owner recognized me and was in distress that he did not pour that latte foam LOL. You can tell he cares about coffee and espresso due to not wanting to claim that as his work! A couple of friends of mine ordered lattes and they were beautifully done, and my friend said it was probably the best he’s ever had in his life. Dang!! I posted photos of both! *end of edited part of review* Finally! This neighborhood finally has a good coffee shop to comfortably spend time at. The barista told me they just opened this past January, 2024. They are tucked in a corner and inside is MUCH larger than you would imagine. Its very spacious in here, and very Italian! It’s great! I ordered an oatmilk latte, mint-chocolate macaroon, and a crepe done how the barista likes it- with milka (like a less sweet nutella) and plasma (like a biscoff cookie crumb). My latte espresso was very very good, although the foam could have been done better. My crepe was AMAZING. Never heard of plasma or milka before but it was fantastic. And i use to work at a crepe shop so i know my crepes. The macaroon was alright but a little stale… 5 stars as a benefit of the doubt for a new business that so far i really like :)
